Will AAP ever become a National Party?

AAP also known as Aam Admi Party is an Indian Political Party. The AAP was born out of an anti-corruption movement and now heads the government in Delhi after a surprisingly strong showing at the assembly elections in December. The AAP says that the promise of equality and justice that forms a part of the Constitution of India and it's preamble has not been fulfilled and that the Independence of India has replaced enslavement to an oppressive foreign power with that to a political elite.

Media is not impressed with AAP's singular focus. The papers warns us in an editorial that the party must take care that it doesn't become a one - trick pony by making corruption it's sole agenda. The papers also pointed out that people are struggling with inflation, unemployment and slow growth across the country, the paper says that if the AAP wants to be a national alternative it must focus on issues of economy and governanceThe AAP is a warning and a challenge and it represents the victory of the grievance of common residents from the system

An article from the TOI (The Times of India), column written by Kaushik Deka points out that the AAP phenomenon marks an important development in the Indian Polity : it represents the rise of a new era. He argues that the organisation's manifesto, policies and actions leave none in doubt about it's ideological learnings.

Therefore, there are lesser chances for AAP to become a National Party. However you don't know what's going to happen. Let's hope for the best.
